Sierra Designs Frontcountry Zipperless Sleeping-Bag

The only sleeping bag you'll ever need/want

The Front Country Bed, 20 Duo Sleeping Bag

If you want/need luxury while sleeping at camp or in your rig, look no further. The Front Country by Sierra Designs is my go to. I've used on cool fall nights and even down to -6 in VT.

Sierra Designs Frontcountry Zipperless Sleeping Bag

  • $249.95

  • You can pick up Sierra Designs at your local outdoor shop or at Sierra Designs

  • Where it shines: When you need a blanket or a sleeping bag

This Patent-pending zipperless beauty provides an ultra-comfortable bag. Its oversized, integrated comforter gives all the comforts of your bed at home. To be honest, you'll want to put this on your bed at home. It's that amazing. Full-length, insulated hand/arm pockets help seal out drafts and warmth. I have used this in summer on cooler nights and in extremely windy and cold VT winters inside the van. I love it! The self-sealing foot vents on either side are my jam. They also have a lighter "Backcountry" bag if you want to cut weight. You can purchase most Sierra Designs gear at your local outdoor shop or from Sierra Designs.

What's RAD

  • Quality/Look/Price

  • How roomy it is inside, which allows for some nice spooning (until it's time to go to bed), which I will then need you to go to your side of the bag.

  • Easy to roll back up and put away (aka, when rushing to break down camp, you don't have to roll this thing up perfectly for it to fit back in its carrying bag

  • If car camping, I would call it a 4 season even though it's rated for 3

Not so RAD

  • I want more colors to pick from, but I'm being a brat

Kook Tip

  • Make sure you look at Sierra Designs apparel line. Small but great quality. I was very impressed with the base layer gear, and the rain coats. Great price point too
