Where it shines: In any body of water
When Redington says this is the best rod they ever made, they were not kidding! The 590 (a five-weight line and a nine-foot-long rod) is an excellent fast action rod that performs above and beyond in the shorts too big open waters. The stiffer tip design has been a noticeable improvement from rods in the past. The compressed cork grip is an excellent touch for extra comfort on long days.
